Meeting Simple Plan in person at the MTV Asia studios was such a surreal experience. First of all, getting the call on the day itself and being so completely unprepared for the meet and greet session left me quite in shock the entire day. But the nerves hit right before walking into the studio. What to say?? But it turned out all good. The guys from Simple Plan were so nice about everything. We took lots of pictures, and got our Simple Plan CDs and posters signed, talked to them for a while, and got filmed by the MTV people for RippleVox I think. It was all very exciting business which was MUCH TOO SHORT.

The next night was the Simple Plan showcase. Before the guys came on, there was the amazing wait. But it was worth it. Simple Plan has to be one of the best bands I've ever seen play live, and I've seen quite a few. Too bad they only played 5 songs. It's once again, MUCH TOO SHORT. But it was a good 5 songs. With the question and answer session in between each song, we learned quite a bit of random facts about the boys. Their new song is amazing. I absolutely cannot wait for the album to be released next January. I'll be lining up to get it! Unless of course someone good and kind like RippleVox wants to give it to me for free... Haha.  Anyway, I must say I love Simple Plan so much more now! =)
