The phone is functioning well. One thing slightly deviates from what I was told on the day of issuance. "Phone must have battery power/or be switched on in order for it to be scanned/read" - I was told by the staff that one can also access the stations even when the phone is off
On the 1st day of trying, after topping up the card, I tried it at Tiong Bahru station. Ok, it works but at the exit point at Dover Station, it failed. Even the Control Station staff couldnt access it and asked me, "Why do you want to use that thing?".
Guess it wasn't working..
After calling in iWOW, I somehow managed to make it work. So for 1 week since last, it works.
One thing about this phone, the standby time sucks. After a full charge, I left it on overnight. The phone died after 8 hours.
So the phone is now an accesory like the normal card, using it to tap only for trips only. One thing tho, many people were staring at me when I tapped it. Funny looks. Hee.
