  Learning from the Best!
Kai interview Noise Apprenticeship
I actually apply just for the fun of it as my current job is just facing the computer everyday and I'm looking for a new experience. Something unique, something I have never done before. So when StarHub sent me an email to invite me to join Ripplevox, I just grabbed the chance!

I must say Brent and his team at Ripplevox work very fast, I got a call the very day to invite me for a casting at Ripplevox.

After a few questions and 2 days later, I received a call to tell me that I'm selected to be a Ripplevox member and I will be covering the Noise Singapore Apprenticeship event! Woah! Totally Cooool!

On the day of shoot, met up with Brent and Veronica at their office and took a cab down to StarHub Cable Vision. And if Fadillah thinks that Ken Lim's Office is far, check out StarHub's! It was a super super super long ride on the cab to Ayer Rajah!! Nearly fell asleep in the cab.

When we reach there, the instruction that was pass to me by Chris and the Michelle (MTV Producers) was "Just ask whatever you want." Being in a production team before, I knew that most of the host or emcee will be really nervous and normally, the crew MIGHT get a bit pissed off after toooooo many takes. So I was determine to make my life and their life a bit more easier by rehearsing on my own. Thought everything would be fine. BUT NO….!! Once the camera start rolling, I just fumbled. But they were totally cool about it. *phew*

After a few takes, I start to warm up and begin to get into the interviewing. Being a graphic designer myself, I was very interested to speak to the mentor Da Sheng, the Director of MultiMedia Solutions at StarHub Cable Visions and the apprentice, Alex, a teacher in the design industry as well. It was totally crazy to be able to do that, seeing what they have been doing (so I know who have being doing all those motion graphics on the cable vision now… hmm...)

So if you are interested to know about things from "Are Graphic Designers Geek? to which is more important "Talent or hard work" You better catch Pop Inc. on MTV...!

So Brent, when will I get to interview George Lucas?
