The concert was so cool! I mean, yes, Daughtry himself already makes the concert sound so worth going, but his performance and skills, interaction with the crowds and fans, its no wonder he is such a rising rocker.
What I loved the most about the concert? Daughtry. Cliche but true. And plus, because it was in a club, the setting made him look so mesmerising! He sung well live, very well in fact. The songs were all played in acoustic versions too, it made his voice stand out more.
There were some mishaps at the concert, I sympathised with Daughtry. As he was playing "Over You", he got the crowd to sing to the chorus ourselves. I guessed most of the people inside got the ticket through connections, most of them were not true blue Daughtry fans and were unable to sing to the song, thus, when people sang to the song, it was not loud at all, it did not even sound like a rock concert where everyone screams to the songs being played. So much so Daughtry had to pause his singing and replay the chorus again, asking us to be louder because we were so not loud at all. =P
Other than the unresponsive crowd, Daughtry should be applauded for his manners. Though a rocker, he has manners. He continued playing the songs and always smiled and gave his best, singing with emotions and enthusiasm. Go Daughtry!
In general, Daughtry is more than just a singer and a rockstar. He is a model for singers out there. Where humbleness and quality is portrayed.
Thank you ripplevox for this once in a lifetime experience, it truly made me look at Daughtry with more respect.
