  Victory!
Victory!

I didn't believe it at first, but i won the first Faux Pro in Singapore, on 18 March 2007. Actually it was my friends idea , she said that "who know u might win this". With much support and encouragement from them i join the competition. And guess what, i got through the heat on 17 March 2007 as a wildcard winner, with a timing of 38 seconds.

The next day i had to come down for the finals of the Faux Pro at Raffles City Shopping Centre at 4 pm. But the finalist must be there at 3.30 pm. Before the competition starts we had to do some warm up on the board. I was he last one to did it. After the warm up we went backstage and get change, as usaul the guys will do it first then the girls.

After our name had been called, Glenn Ong the host, interviewed us one by one, he ask "how are u feeling?". After the interview, it's time for the Faux Pro competition to start. There's a total of 5 Males and 4 Female. I was the forth male to go. When it's my turn to go, i was really scared at that point of time because at the heats my time was not as good as the other contestant. I just do what i'm suppose to do and just do my best to get the crowd going, stay the board as long as i can and just to have fun. The crowd was really supportive when i was on the board, that's what keeps me going. I manage to stay on the board for 58 seconds. I was shocked that my timing improved.

After both guys and girls had finished, they call us back to the stage for the result. I said to myself it's the moment of truth. Glenn Ong announce the girls winner first it was Crystal, then the guys. I was really nervous, when he shout out my name i was shocked to hear it. I try pinching myself,  am i dreaming. It's not a dream, i just won the Faux Pro competition first ever held in Singapore with a timing of 58 seconds.

I would like to thank Quiksilver, Roxy, Ripplevox, Tourism Australia and all the Sponsers, for this chance to be the winner of the Faux Pro. A million thanks to the panel of judges that make me the winner. Thanks again.
