The past few weeks had been exclusive interviews with ousted contestants.However, this time round, I'm given the task of covering the Singapore Idol road show!

Instead of one idol contestant, I got all eight of them at the same time this time round. The contestants were slated to appear at the StarHub road show at 2pm. Thus, I got the "Crew Pass" and proceeded to the backstage area to await the arrival of the contestants.

As the finalists were late, I managed to rehearse some of my lines for the filming later on. While rehearsing and brain storming for questions, Justin Ang of 987fm appeared at the backstage. Without hesitation, armed with the videocam and a mike, I started interviewing Justin Ang. We had a short chat after that filming.

The wait for the finalists continues. After more than 45mins, the idol finalists finally arrived. As MediaCorp did not give us clearance for interviewing them, we had to content ourselves with just footages of them and me talking to camera alone. Well, it may sound hilarious, but do check out the video to find out!

The contestants came and gone in a flash. Next up, we proceeded to the MTV booth and had a nice chat with MTV VJ Choy! Well, Choy was there to host the auditions for Ripplevox & Pop Inc. Its nice talking to Choy. There was also a RippleVox terminal set up at the booth for people to sign up with us.
